Personally I have never been one for being that hungry when I first wake up but I know I should eat. One problem that then comes from this is that starting work early then leaves me with quite a long period of time being awake before I get around to eating due to my own lack of preparation. Below are a couple of quick and simple recipes you can make up the night before in order to be organised for breakfast.
Overnight Oats Ingredients
100g Oats
175ml Almond Milk
1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
10g Honey
75g Frozen Strawberries and Blueberries
20g Full Fat Greek Yoghurt
Place the oats into a tuppaware box and the chuck the rest of the ingredients into a blender and whizz it up for about a minute (or less if you like the fruit to be a bit chunky still). Once it is how you want it pour over the oats and put the lid on and leave in the fridge overnight. Come the morning this is ready to eat whenever you like.
Yoghurt Pot Ingredients
150g Greek Yoghurt
40g Oats
30g Frozen Fruit
1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
Throw all of the ingredients in to a tuppaware box and give it a good stir until the protein powder isn’t visible. Put in the fridge overnight and once again all you have to do is get it out and eat when you want it.
Above are two very quick and simple recipes to help solve the problem of people who say they have no time to make or eat breakfast.
*Please note that the above measurements of ingredients are what I have for my own personal goals so the amounts may vary depending on what your goals are.
