Surviving Restaurants

Going out for dinner needn’t derail any lifestyle transformation.

I think going out for dinner should be encouraged and enjoyed by everyone.

Personally, I love eating out dinner and usually go out for dinner at least twice a week.

I don’t have any children (just a cat) and I don’t have a dishwasher so washing up is really painful!

My guide for eating out is pretty much the same as eating normally - low sugar, low saturated fat, high protein and complexed carbs.

9/10 I will go for steak, veg and sweat potatoes with butter (yes butter, its margarine you need to watch out for) Plus some red wine!

I’ll have a starter if there is something I like, normally chicken or fish.

I never have a dessert as they literally have nothing to offer other than an energy crash and fat storage.

At the weekend and if I’m not driving then I might even cap it off with a little brandy to finish.

If you are going our regularly, my advice would be the following

DO:
* Eat Steak & Veg
* Drink Wine (rather than beer)
* Enjoy yourself

DON’T
* Have a dessert
* Order food with lots or sauce
* Order anything without protein in it!

Enjoy your food, your life and your body
